College Visit Days

Seniors are allowed to visit colleges. All college days taken on a school day MUST be approved by Mr. Parrish BEFORE the day of the absence. The student must bring a signed statement from the institution visited when he/she returns to school. Many colleges and universities host special visitation days on Saturday.

*Huntingdon College is hosting Host Day Programs on Saturday, October 8 (Homecoming and Family Weekend), Saturday, November 5, and Saturday, March 3. For more information go to Huntingdon College.

*Jacksonville State University is hosting Fall Preview Day on Saturday, September 24, 2011 and Spring Preview Days on February 4, 2012 & April 14, 2012. For more information go to JSU DAYS.

*Judson College is hosting Special Preview/Scholarship Day - Sept. 24, Fall Scholarship Day  - November 12 and Spring Scholarship Day - February 18.   For more information go to Judson College.

*Mississippi State University is hosting 2 Fall Preview Days on Monday, October 10, 2011 and Monday, October 24, 2011. Registration is $10 per person and includes a t-shirt, lunch and ice cream. This is a pre-registration only event. registration deadline is September 9, 2011. Register at MSU. Spring preview day is Monday - March 26, 2012 with a registration deadline of February 26, 2012.

*The University of Alabama Birmingham is hosting UAB Day is September 24, 2011, at 8:00 am (Bartow Arena) and October 29, 2011, at 8:00 am (Bartow Arena)

*The University South Alabama is hosting USA Days. Fall 2011 USA DAY - Saturday, November 19, 2011 and Spring 2012 USA DAY - Saturday, March 10, 2012

*Troy University is hosting a Fall Preview Day on Saturday, October 12, 2011 starting @ 11:00am. Free bbq and football tickets to Trojans vs. the University of Lousiana-Monroe game.
