    Seniors:

    The PreCollege Program at Pratt Institute is a summer program for high school students to experience college-level study in Pratt Institute's programs of art, design, architecture, creative writing, or critical and visual studies.     Summer Science, Engineering and Architecture Enrichment Program at Clemson University is a summer enrichement program for gifted high school students. New programs are available this year and you can choose from one week and two week classes. For more information go to www.clemson.edu/summerscience Deadline is May 1

    E-MAP - Engineering Math Advancement Program (University of Alabama) is a summer calculus ramp-up class available to students after graduating high school, but prior to entering their freshman year of college. The class is designed to encourage students to pursue careers in engineering, science and technology and to help them stay on track with core coursework.     2008 Capstone Business Leadership Academy is a 10 day residential summer program designed for academically exceptional rising high school seniors interested in obtaining an education and pursuing a career in business. Must be a rising senior; have 3.4 GPA; 27 on ACT. Dates for program are June 16-25 and July 14-23. visit www.cba.ua.edu/summeracademy for more information Deadline is March 15

    Rural Health Scholars Program is a 5 week residential summer program designed for rising seniors interested in health careers. Must be a rising senior, have a "B" average and score a 20 or above on the ACT. See Mrs. Meherg for application and more information. Deadline is March 15

    Summer Leaders Seminar 2008 is a residential summer program designed for academically exceptional rising high school seniors interested in gaining a better understanding of the academic, physical, and leadership-development programs at a service academy that features small classes, a caring faculty, professional career preparation, and a foundation for future graduate study. Programs are available June 7-13 and June 14-30. Applicants should be in the top fifth of their high school class; pursuing a college-prep curriculum; strong PSAT scores, and demonstrated leadership by participation, election/selection to office, and honors earned in organized athletic and extracurricular activities.
