BBSST | Enrichment | Faculty | Lunch Menu | Title I |Middle School Calendar ANNOUNCEMENTS - WEEK OF MAY 5 - MAY 9 Thursday - 8th Grade Field Trip to McWane Center Friday - Cyber-Safety Presentation on Internet Safety                presented by Alabama State Trooper Curtis                Summerville.  5th and 6th Grade will start at 8:00.                 7th and 8th Grade at 1:30.  Parents are invited to                attend either session. ANNOUNCEMENTS - WEEK OF MAY 12 - 16 Monday - 8th Grade students and their parents will have a meeting with Mr. Parrish and the high school counselors for 9th grade registration and the new Alabama Graduation Requirements.  The meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. at the high school. Tuesday - 5th and 6th Grade Talent Show in the Gym beginning at 8:30. Wednesday - 5th Grade Health Fair Thursday - 7th and 8th Grade Talent Show in the gym at 8:30. Friday - Field Day on the football field beginning at 8:30.  Talent Show Finals in the lunchroom at 1:00.   MISSION STATEMENT The mission of Winfield Middle School is to serve as an educational bridge between the Elementary and High School, developing and nurturing knowledge and skills to foster the development of lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
